Battlecry

BATTLECRY amplifies team-based combat by combining visceral brutality and competitive multiplayer action to create a new free-to-play gameplay experience.

Choose your warrior – each with a meaningfully distinct suite of attacks and abilities – from one of several factions from diverse parts of the world. With strategy, brutal attacks, and unique weapons, fight for power and glory in 32-player battles across the WarZones. This is the life of a warrior, and victory is yours for the taking.

Dishonored 2

Bethesda Softworks and Arkane Studios show us what Dishonored 2 looks like. You’ll have the choice between Corvo and Emily with a suite of different powers between the two protagonists. PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4 will see Dishonored 2.

Along with the announcement for Dishonored 2, we see another HD remaster for current generation. The original Dishonored game will be coming to Xbox One and PS4.

Elder Scrolls Online

The Imperial City will see a makeover from when Oblivion players last saw it. There will also be new game modes and features.

Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited will be their new push this year along with a new TCG for mobile devices. ‘The Elder Scrolls: Legends’ will be the new strategy card game on PC and iPad Free-to-Play.

Fallout 4

The demo we came for, Fallout 4 was announced recently to a huge welcome from fans of the series. Todd Howard discusses how far Bethesda and video games have come from the early days of E3. “Games are important to all of us here”

Fallout 4 had actually started development just after the release of Fallout 3, so it’s been a long time in the making without much word getting loose.

Fallout 4 will focus on what happened before the bombs fell. What looks like an idyllic community with the threat of nuclear war hanging over everything.

Shown off was the character creation screen, you can be male or female, and there are no sliders, just grab and drag the aspects of your face you want to change.

200 years later, you will emerge as the sole survivor of Vault 111. You’ll meet your dog companion and be able to issue commands like, “Go Here” or “Interact with object”. V.A.T.S also make a return and look as good as ever as you destroy enemies in slow motion.

There will be a companion ‘Pip-Boy’ app so you can use a second screen while playing Fallout 4. If you get the Collectors edition you’ll even get a Pip-Boy that can hold your smartphone. The Pip-Boy in-game will also come with mini-games and animated menus.

To couple with the mobile experience, Fallout will have a ‘Shelter’ game where you can create a vault and be the Overseer. Inspired by Progress Quest, Sims and other mobile titles you can create new rooms and make your vault as productive as possible. No Pay-wall timers, no Internet connection and no pay-to-win, though there will be micro transactions. The game should be in the Apple app store tonight.

Back to Fallout 4, you’ll be able to interact with the environment, create settlements and customize buildings. Including creating defences like turrets to protect against raiders. This crafting system isn’t required to beat the game, but will be an interesting distraction for players who love sinking hours into the open world.
