Ubisoft CEO Confirms New Assassin’s Creed

It’s only been three months since the initial release of Assassin’s Creed 3 and already there is planning underway for the next title of the franchise.

This is hardly surprising, after all, AC3 has sold over 12 million units, which according to a press release is a 70% increase over Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

It was during a post-earnings financial call last week that Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot announced that a new Assassin’s Creed title would be released in the 2014 fiscal year (April 1, 2013 – March 31, 2014).

Guillemot mentioned that the new adaptation will veer away from the previous Assassin’s Creed character Conner Kenway and adapt on to a new member of the Assassin’s as well as a new setting, that still remains to be officially confirmed.
