Metal Gear Online has just been confirmed to ship with Metal Gear Solid 5, Konami confirmed this on Monday just after the game’s official gameplay showcase at The Game Awards.
Metal Gear Online will not require a subscription or an upfront payment which is always great news. The game will pit two teams against each other in various different objective based modes.
In a press release, Konami announced,
“METAL GEAR ONLINE is a dedicated multi-player mode that segues into elements of the main game and will be included with the single player campaign in METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN at no extra cost.”
Metal Gear Solid 5 will be available in 2015 for PS4, and Xbox One, it has been confirmed that a PC edition is in the works but a there is no release date for it yet.
