Rocket League, SMITE, and Halo 5 Tournaments Confirmed for PAX Aus

We’ve already taken a look at the PAX Australia schedule and it’s got some juicy gaming action over the weekend. But some of you are die hard eSports fans and want to know when the white-knuckled PVP events take place.

Halo 5 and Rocket League have smashed into the debut of the PAX Aus ESL Arena, and will be delivering some serious eSport and shooter action all weekend at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Halo 5 arrives only days after its October 27 global launch, and will be joined by Rocket League and the already announced SMITE in the massive, purpose built arena on the PAX Aus show floor.

For fans of Australian eSports, there’s no better place to be this October 30 – November 1, with a range of both friendly competitions and championship matches to be held across the event.

For those wanting to show off their skills and get in on the action, the schedule is as follows:

Friday, October 30 – Morning

Rocket League

– Friendly, single elimination best-of-three tournament

– 16 teams in a 2v2 format

PAX Australia will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 30 October to 1 November, 2015 as part of Melbourne International Games Week and is organised by ReedPOP in conjunction with Penny Arcade.
