Capcom has confirmed this week that Resident Evil Revelations, which was first seen on the Nintendo 3DS console, will now be released on the PS3, Xbox 360 ,PC and Wii U consoles.
As explained in Capcom’s press release, the HD version of RE:Revelations will re amplify its visual graphics as well as expand on it’s sound and lighting potential bringing it up standard, helping gamer’s to better enjoy the title rather than feel as if they’re playing a 3DS title on a big screen. This new update will also for the first time on current generation consoles allow gamer’s to properly relive the original survival horror essence the series once portrayed.
Capcom have also released info on additional content such as new difficulty modes and a new Raid mode, which first appeared on the 3DS version of the game, will be equipped with new skill sets, weapons and the option of playing as veteran Resident Evil soldier, Hunk.
As well clarafication on a new antagonist for the game has also been confirmed.
Resident Evil: Revelations is set for release on the 24th of May.
