The Complete E3 2017 Press Conference Schedule
Here’s a handy table that will help you figure out what’s coming when, no matter what time-zone you’re in:
The official E3 Twitter account has posted a handy timezone chart for every E3 2017 press conference. @anshinritsumai has put together a second chart (seen above) with colour coded information and some added details for other developers.
The conferences start Sunday, June 10 in LA with EA Games looking to kickstart the festivities. and Microsoft events. If you’re staying up late you’ll catch Bethesda. Though you may be a bit bleary eyed for Ubisoft, and PlayStation’s events. Nintendo takes the final spot on Tuesday,
We’ll post live-stream links here when we’re closer to the show.
Below are the E3 2017 Australian Times
Electronic Arts – Sunday, 5:00AM AEST
EA Games have thrown their event forward for Sunday Australian time putting their horse way out in front. It isn’t clear just what this press conference will look like, but here’s what EA says:
“With our event opening on Saturday, June 10th (Local US time), we will be kicking off the weekend with our all-new live broadcast experience starting at 12pm PST, where we’ll be celebrating our players and our biggest games of the year ahead.”
EA Sports, it’s in the game… and it’s probably in the press conference. Expect to see a while lot of sports, a lot of Star Wars Battlefront 2, and MAYBE some kind of BioWare related IP.
Microsoft – Monday, 7:00AM AEST
The Xbox marketing team is off to a ripper start this year, vacating their traditional Monday morning local time presser slot and snagging Sunday afternoon local time instead. It’s safe to expect the official reveal (complete with price and release date) of Microsoft’s next console, Scorpio, as well as more info on Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves, and your boy Master Chief showing up in some form or another.
The question is, ‘Will Microsoft discuss the gaming potential of the Scorpio more than its media potential?’
Bethesda – Monday, 12:00PM AEST
Bethesda has been a darling the last two E3 events, for the third year, Bethesda will hold the ‘Bethesdaland’ press conference. We’re expecting to see a new Wolfenstein, a new Evil Within, and maybe some other good surprises.
A few people would love a Fallout: New Vegas style spin-off or the next instalment in The Elder Scrolls series.
PC Gaming Show – Tuesday, 3:00 AM AEST
Ubisoft – Tuesday, 6:00AM AEST
There’s no word yet on whether actress and comedian Aisha Tyler, who has hosted Ubisoft’s past five E3 press briefings, will return this year.
We’ve asked Ubisoft for details, and we’ll update this article with any information we receive. Mostly our inbox is full of South Park: The Fractured But Whole being released October 17, 2017.
Sony – Tuesday, 11:00AM AEST
Sony often sticks to tradition, and has been kicking major goals the past few years at E3.
Tuesday morning we’ll probably see a lot of new info about games announced last year: Spider-Man, Days Gone, Uncharted: Lost Legacy and so on.
For those with handheld in mind, you’re probably keen for the 45-minute block dedicated to PS Vita games.
Nintendo – Wednesday, 2:00AM AEST
Super Mario Odyssey please! The ‘Nintendo Spotlight’ that everyone with a Switch will be watching, mostly because they’ll have finished the only game on that console by June. The big N says it will only be talking about 2017 games at this year’s recorded presentation but we wouldn’t be surprised to see some teases for 2018 as well.
We’d expect to see other big Switch games this spring as well. Nintendo also still says that Xenoblade 2 is coming out this year, though I’d be more interested in a Monster Hunter or a Switch based Pokemon game.
Devolver Digital – TBA
Devolver Digital has confirmed it will have an E3 press conference this year. The publisher made the announcement today on Twitter, though a time and/or date for the conference were not discussed.
