Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends is coming down under in April, but there’s been a bit of confusion as to what form it will arrive in. Tecmo Koei has clarified how the dual title will appear on all platforms.
Here are the three different types of Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends’ for the western launch:
- Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition – PS4:
- Contains both Dynasty Warriors 8 and Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends. If you have already played Dynasty Warriors 8 on PS3, you can import your save data for use on PS4.
- Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition – Vita:
- Contains both Dynasty Warriors 8 and Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends
- Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends – PS3: is a standalone expansion.
- Can be played alone, but if you have the original PS3 game you can import your data.
Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends comes with new content including:
- New episodes adding to the story of The Three Kingdoms of China focusing on the exploits of Lu Bu.
- 5 additional characters.
- Hypothetical scenarios that alter plotlines of the various episodes throughout the ‘Romance of the Three Kingdoms’ story.
- New difficulty level in Free Mode, Xtreme Legends ‘Ultimate’
Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends arrives in Australia/New Zealand for a 3rd of April release after dropping in North America on March 25.
The expansion first arrived on PS3 in Japan in November last year, and the PS4 dual title is a launch title for the console in Japan.
