Just Cause 3 is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC next year, and despite the fact the multiplayer “mod” for the 2nd game in the series was an unprecedented success, Avalanche have decided not include it with the game.
The developers however have admited that one day Just Cause 3 may come into the multiplayer world but that time is not now. The PC mod is sanctioned by Square Enix meaning that they probably support a multiplayer mode for the game.
A developer at Avalanche stated “We don’t expect the fans to make the multiplayer for Just Cause 3, but at some point you have to make a choice on where your focus is.”
