Leaked Titanfall Images: Maps, Game Modes And Ziplines

Leaked Titanfall information has been dropped on the Internet like a heavy mech with images and explanations.

Titanfall’s Prestige Mode: Generations

Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

Once Titanfall players reach the level cap, they’ll be able to reset their progress. According to the images: experience, unlocks and completed challenges, but not their Burn Card collection. After becoming a second-generation pilot, you’ll work through to complete challenges again. There will be a total of 10 generations to complete with other players being able to know what generation you are. Second-generation pilots earn experience at a rate that’s 10 percent faster than normal; it appears that the rate keeps increasing for future generations.

Titanfall Game Modes

It’s already been talked about that Titanfall doesn’t have a traditional story mode or single player. Titanfall‘s campaign reportedly features nine different matches — five rounds of Attrition (Team Deathmatch), and four of Hardpoint — and they’re playable from both sides, Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation and Militia.

Along with: Attrition, Hardpoint and Last Titan Standing game types from the beta, Titanfall will apparently offer another option called Pilot Hunter. In that mode, one point is awarded for every Pilot (human player) killed. Taking down AI opponents provides no points, but does lower the time to earn titans and regenerate the titan core ability.

Zip-lines

Zip-lines

Zip-lines travel both ways, up and down. They’re especially helpful in Capture The Flag matches and escaping areas quickly. If you thought wall running and jet-pack boosting was fun, wait until you see the zip-line in action. You’ll attach to it from either end or even while in mid-air (assuming you’re close enough.) You hold the reload button to latch on and ride.

Heavy Turrets

Heavy turrets are designed for killing everything—including Titans. When used out in the field, they are often braced into position in urban environments atop buildings, and have a considerable range of motion and excellent target tracking systems. Multiple Titans are usually required to disable a single heavy turret by focusing their fire on it. They operate autonomously and, in most cases, can be “flipped” (to fight for the other team) when a nearby console is compromised, often with a Data Knife.
