Team NINJA and Dark Horse Comics have launched a three-part Ninja Gaiden Z digital comic series.
Providing backstory to Yaiba and his sword “Heatless”, the debut issue is available though Digital Dark Horse. Taking a break from relentless zombie massacre, the comic takes a look into the history of Yaiba.
Written by Tim Seeley (Army of Darkness vs. Hack/Slash) and Josh Emmons (Ex Sanguine), Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z, Part 1 is in full colour and free to download through the Dark Horse Comic App on iOS and Android.
Whilst free comics is always fun, the downside is Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z has had its release date pushed back to the 20th March for Australia and New Zealand.
Once the game releases the full comic series should be available in a physical format.
