Nintendo 3DS 2013 Titles Announced, Get Excited!

Nintendo Australia have announced the release dates for several of the highly anticipated Nintendo 3DS titles that will be released in Australia and New Zealand in the next coming months.

Nintendo’s favourite Ghostbuster returns to the Nintendo 3DS console as he heeds his call to exterminate several new ghostly infested problems. Equipped with the ‘Poltergust 5000’, join Luigi in the sequel to the exclusive 2002 Gamecube title, Luigi’s Mansion, as he solves new puzzles and raids through multiple mansions in search for menacing spooks and spectrum.  For the series first, Luigi’s Mansion 2 will feature a local and online multi-player mode. Luigi’s Mansion will be available on the 28th of March.

Fire Emblem: Awakening

In a kingdom ruled by two dragons, dark forces rise with the intent of destroying mankind. Follow Chrom, prince of Ylisse and commander of the Shepperds army, as he and his soldiers set out to disperse the unholy force that’s intent on seeing the destruction of the Kingdom of Man. Staying true to its traditions, Fire Emblem: Awakening follows the same strategic action its predecessors displayed, however raised to new standards with its new unique 3D visuals and new combat gameplay, which are still yet to be seen. For followers of the series Fire Emblem: Awakening is an adventure like no other. Fire Emblem: Awakening will be available exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS on the 20th of April, 2013.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity brings gamers back into the vast world populated only by Pokémon. Choose from Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, or Axew as you and your chosen Pokémon battle through Mystery Dungeons and unravel a fiendish plot that threatens your chosen Pokémon’s home as well as its inhabitants. For the first time Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates of Infinity introduces a wireless multi-player feature, which will allow up to 4 players to work together and battle through dungeons. The title will also feature a new capability known as ‘Magnagates’, which are mysterious portals that allow you to find a hidden mystery dungeon. These portals can be found by activating the 3DS’s camera and using it to scan objects in the real world, such as a ball or a watch. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates of Infinity will exclusively be available on the Nintendo 3DS  on the 18th of May, 2013.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf continues free form gameplay from previous Animal Crossing titles, however without any restrictions. There are no goals, no story, not even an ending, which means you can enjoy life the way you choose to. Experience new animals and new ways to have fun as you live life the way you want to. Animal Crossing: New Leaf will be available on the Nintendo 3DS on the 15 of June, 2013.
