THQ have announced that the expected Saints Row: The Third – Enter the Dominatrix expansion will now be incorporated fully into the next Saints Row game.
The highly anticipated expansion which will give players super power abilities was originally planned to be released as a piece of DLC. According to THQ: “cumulative awesomeness of gameplay experience can no longer fit into expansion pack.”
THQ’s President states that, “We believe the potential for this sequel is far greater as a full-priced, full length, high quality, connected experience.”
The story continues after the events of the Saints Row: The Third with an alien warlord Zinyak, who is preparing to invade the planet Earth. He is concerned however, with the Third Street Saints. In order to prepare, Zinyak, captures the leader of the gang and holds him in a virtual reality simulation. It is here in Dominatrix, where you are a slave and your journey begins.
With already 11 million copies of Saints Row: The Third sold, no matter when, or how the extended gameplay and storyline will be distributed to gamers, it is sure to please fans of the franchise.
